| University + Directions
Set amid a thriving metropolitan region of 2.6 million residents, the University benefits from the vast array of social, cultural, and recreational opportunities offered by the St. Louis area. Bordered on the east by St. Louis' famed Forest Park and on the north, west, and south by well-established suburbs, the 169-acre Hilltop Campus features predominantly Collegiate Gothic architecture, including a number of buildings on the National Register of Historic Places. An example is Brookings Hall, shown below. The campus also holds the 1904 Olympic Stadium. WEBPAGE TO RETREIVE STREET MAP Directions to Lars Angenent's office: To reach Wash U: after passing Forest Park, you will be able to see Brookings Hall (picture below). Cross Skinker Blvd (no turn) when you come from Lindell Blvd or take a left when you come from I64 and you are on Skinker Blvd to get to Brookings Dr. At the end of Brookings Dr, make a right turn on Hoyt Dr (runs parallel on Brookings Hall). A new building (Earth and Planetary Sciences: Building 29 on the map that is given above as a pdf file) is on your left side when you are driving on Hoyt Dr. Make a left turn when you just pass that building. Don't go to Forest Park Pky, which is at the end of Hoyt Dr and very close. Now you are on Throop Dr. Go straight and you will see a three-story parking garage (Building 73) on your right side. Park your car in the garage in the yellow area and I can get a permit for you for the day. My office is in Building 23 (Cupples II, room 201). If you have a cell phone call my office phone at 314-935-5663 when you are lost.
