Research: Capture and Inactivation of Airborne Viral Particles
Using an X-Ray Enhanced ElectroStatic Precipitator (ESP).
Aerosols comprised of particles of biological origin, such as viruses,
bacteria, fungi, and spores, are capable of being allergenic, infectious,
and/or toxic when inhaled. Inactivation of bioaerosols with ESPs is
applicable for indoor air quality improvements related to anti-bioterrorism
and overall public health.
